The Villa is located just outside the historical town centre of Empoli in the country area called “Val di Botte” and it was built in the 17th century as part of the surrounding properties of the castle “Castello del Cotone”, built by a prestigious local family situated 200 mt away from the property.
The Castle, although it has always been a private residence, has preserved its original interior and external features including the lovely private Chapel where, until recent times, laid the remains of Saint Nicholas. During specific periods visits can be arranged.

GROUND FLOOR: There is a stylish modern-country kitchen fully equipped with a central stove unit, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, dishwasher , large wooden table sitting up to 12 people and a laundry room. A cosy real fire place can accompany you during Spring and Autumn seasons.
There is a small living room and and the main living-room where are comfortable sofas placed in front of a wide flat television screen and also an elegant fireplace to create a romantic atmosphere during the colder months.
FIRST FLOOR: there are 5 double-bedrooms and four bathrooms. The refined master bedroom, overlooking the magnificent paved garden patio, is completed with en-suite bathroom with tub and and shower.
Two double bedrooms are equipped with an en-suite shower bathroom and two twin bedroom share a shower bathroom.
DEPENDANCE: Connected to the Ground floor through a door is a quite indipendent area suitable for couples looking for privacy or a family . It features one double bedroom (mezzanine floor) a bathroom with shower a cozy living room with fireplace and a lounge with TV and a double sofa bed.
OUTSIDE AREAS : guests can rest in the beautiful garden and park with over 200 typical Mediterranean olive trees or enjoy meals or snacks under the elegant Gazebo . On the top part of the garden is the marvellous swimming-pool located in a perfect private position with a southern exposure. Lunch or dinner can also be enjoyed here. The pool is fully equipped with sun-beds, umbrella, outdoor shower and a wooden changing-room.
