Villa al Lago dates back to the beginning of the century and still belongs to the noble Swiss family that came here on holiday and fell in love with the area . They soon decided to build here their Italian holiday home. The villa has been carefully restored in 2008. The owners tastefully furnished and embellished it retaining many of its original characteristics and balancing them harmoniously with modern comforts: fine tapestries and fabrics, floors made from fine wood with geometric inlays, beautiful painting on the walls, family period furnishing come with a modern and fully equipped kitchen, WIFI Internet connection, Plasma TV with satellite.
The villa is perfectly located overlooking the lake and set in a beautiful landscaped garden, a private dock and a panoramic terrace with a stunning lake view.
Villa al Lago is only a few kilometers from Cernobbio and 7 km from the center of Como. The ferry pier is at a very short walking distance and from the private dock, guests can use a rental boat or the comfortable water-taxis to visit the the charming villages of Lake Como.

A well-equipped kitchen with five -burner stove, dishwasher, espresso machine, fridge with icemaker and microwave. A bathroom with shower. Second kitchen, fully equipped, with Weber BBQ. In the kitchen are stored 40 types of wine and champagne available for purchase, and a separate refrigerator for beer (4 types).
