Villa Caruso is a charming villa overlooking one of the most exquisite views in Italy. It is situated at the ancient gateway to Ravello, on the side of the lofty hill which slopes steeply away from the town towards the shimmering, navy blue Bay of Salerno. From the villa you can see the cliffs and coastline dotted with towns and villages that date back to the Romans, interspersed with chestnut, olive and lemon trees, vines and rambling roses. The oldest part of the villa is a 12th-century watchtower, built when Ravello was part of the Republic of Amalfi.

The Villa is like a lovely, relaxed family home, it accomodates up to ten people and it is ideal for private parties.
The gorgeous garden allows guests, during summer, to eat outside , alfresco , surrounded by rampaging, vibrant bougainvillaea and other flowers and shrubs.
Ravello is an excellent choice for both short and long breaks, having for decades inspired writers and musicians who came to work, actors and politicians who came to rest, or anyone on a European tour who felt they shouldn’t miss this special, romantic place. Smaller, quieter and more refined than its rowdy neighbours on the coast, Ravello enfolds you in its cultural heritage in the form of monuments, churches, palazzos and gardens. The annual festival of music and drama lasts most of the summer and makes good use of all the town’s landmark buildings.

Accomodation details:
It accommodates up to 10 people in five bedrooms (two of them are in the old tower) and also has five bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and dining and living space.
Outside areas: a beautiful garden with a loggia housing a table sitting ten people, for fabulous dinners al fresco. A wonderful private terrace with pool overlooking Ravello and the amalfi cost.
Beside the swimming pool there is an outside kitchen and traditional Neapolitan barbecue.
