General Info:
Apulia, a cradle for ancient civilizations with its prehistoric graffitos in Porto Badisco caves , important traces of the Messapi civilization and the 7 towns of Greek Salento: all of them represent the last existing signs of Graecia Magna.
Apulia has been also a land of dominations ,attested by nobiliary mansions and towns and squares designed by great emperors who left their mark in history.
This beautiful region lives in an almost fully protected environment with its National Parks of Gargano and Murge, the Tremiti Islands and Torre Guaceto marine reserves and several more protected areas. It offers undoubtely a diverse and incontaminate natural landscape .
The charachteristic ancient home, the Human kind world heritage "Trulloes", are found either in Alberobello or scattered over Itria valley countryside, to bring drystone tradition to our era.
Together with Trulloes the landscape is carachterized also by traditional farms, here called Masserie , as well as ravines and caves and swamps : a spectacular and unique land, difficult to forget with one of the most beautiful and clean sea stretches in Italy.
