Villa Leccio is a traditional Tuscan style property rental with private pool, and it can accommodate 16 people. It is located 38 km south of Siena and 50 km north of the Maremma area, on the “via Francigena”, the historical medieval road that runs from Scotland to Rome, in the 'Farma-Merse rivers Natural Reserve', one of the best preserved areas of Tuscany and central Italy, of outstanding beauty. Woods and forests surround the property, offering countless trekking, horse trekking, mountain biking opportunities. There are free thermal springs, a couple of elegant Spas and art cities in easy reach by car. The nearest sea is only 40 km away.
The location (1500 ft. above sea level) and the green surroundings provide summer temperatures more agreable than in many other areas. Most rooms have eco-friendly ceiling fans.
The buildings have been reconverted with the attention to retain their original character. The Villa has full central heating, handmade terracotta floors, chestnut wood beamed ceilings and interiors decorated in subtle natural colours.
All bedrooms are in the main building, have ensuite bathrooms with shower and cooking facilities for hot/cold drinks and snacks. The main kitchen is the large, equipped one in the second building.
Villa Leccio is the ideal place for large family reunions, a large groups of friends or a romantic wedding. Guests can enjoy their privacy and gather together in the common living areas, both indoors and outdoors.
Monticiano village, which is only 500 mt. away and can be reached with a short walk along a road lined with typical evergreen 'lecci' (helm-oaks), offers all major facilities.

The 'Gran focolare ' suite is the biggest of all, on two floors, with 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 9 people.
On first floor: entrance/living room with big open fire place, dining table and chairs; 2 bedrooms and cooking facilities for hot and cold drinks and snacks. Three other bedrooms are on the upper floor. The entrance/living room enjoys views of the courtyard and all bedrooms look onto the gardens.
The 'Champagne ' suite is the smallest , on first floor and consists of: entrance/living room with sofa, dining table with chairs; double bedroom; bathroom with shower and bidet, cooking facilities for hot and cold drinks and snacks; ceiling fans. It overlooks the entrance courtyard.
The 'Camino' suite is a first floor apartment and consists of a living room with big fireplace, dining table and chairs, double settee; large double bedroom; bathroom with shower and bidet, cooking facilities for hot and cold drinks and snacks, ceiling fans. Views of the garden and the woods.
The Mansarda suite is a second floor, under-the-roof apartment and consists of a large living room with dining table and chairs, double settee; large double bedroom; bathroom with shower and bidet; cooking facilities for hot and cold drinks and snacks, ceiling fans.Views of the swimming-pool, the woods and of the hills in the distance.
The 'Blue ' suite is a charming mezzanine floor apartment and consists of a small entrance/reading room with table, chairs and double settee that opens onto a large bedroom; large double bedroom with table and chairs; bathroom with shower and bidet, cooking facilities for hot and cold drinks and snacks, ceiling fans.
This apartment bedroom overlooks the entrance courtyard.
Most double beds can be made into two separate beds.
