This country Villa was built in the later half of the 18th century and sits amid a beautiful hilly setting and olive grove on the lower western slopes of Monte Albano. Originally two separate peasants cottages, the villa underwent a careful restructuring which united the two buildings without compromising their individual integrity. Only local - often rehabilitated - building materials were used in the highly environmentally-sensitive project. There are two chairs and a table from Puccini's villa at Torre del Lago, as well as a late Empire sideboard of Calabrese origin.
